In case you want my baseless prediction on how school safety will be addressed nationally over the next year(s)
1) Congress and the feds will fritter around and accomplish nothing while parents and young people get angrier
2) POTUS and DeVos will announce a massive budget allocation in the DOE to study and make recommendations on school security
3) Erik Prince(DeVos’s brother) will move back to the states and get his old Blackwater merc buddies together
4) DOE will hire them as a security consulting firm and take recommendations
5) Blackwater School Security will get a $500 million contract to devise and implement safety protocols as well as provide/train security personnel for public schools nationwide(at the schools’ expense of course)
